VIGILANCE (Versatile Intelligent Agents for Interconnected Ledgers and Autonomous Next-Generation Cybersecurity Ecosystems) is a Digital Europe project that addresses the growing complexity and scale of cyber threats targeting Critical Infrastructures and essential services across Europe. The project aims to significantly reduce the effort, cost, and complexity required to deploy and operate advanced cybersecurity solutions based on Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).

VIGILANCE delivers an integrated, multi-layer cybersecurity platform built around autonomous and intelligent software agents capable of real-time monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and adaptive response. By combining Adversarial AI, Generative AI, blockchain technologies, and post-quantum security mechanisms, the platform transforms fragmented security data into actionable Cyber Threat Intelligence. This enables organisations to shift from reactive defence models to proactive, scalable, and self-sustaining cybersecurity strategies. The solution is validated across multiple sectors, including telecommunications, finance, logistics, and industrial environments, strengthening Europe’s cyber resilience, regulatory compliance, and digital sovereignty.
