On May 5th, 2026, IANUS Technologies took part in the DEFEA – Defence Exhibition Athens 2026, participating in discussions focused on the future of defence, security innovation, and European strategic cooperation.

During the conference, Georgios Kioumourtzis, Director of IANUS Technologies, had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Panayiotis Hadjipavlis, Defence Director of the Cyprus Ministry of Defence, exchanging views on emerging defence technologies, innovation initiatives, and the evolving security landscape in Europe.

DEFEA continues to serve as an important platform for bringing together industry leaders, governmental authorities, and innovators to strengthen collaboration and advance resilient defence capabilities.

IANUS participated from April 23 to 25 at InterAigis 2026, one of the leading events in civil protection, safety, and security.

At the event, we showcased advanced software solutions designed to support:
• Crisis management & emergency response
• Public safety and law enforcement operations
• Critical infrastructure protection

Representing IANUS, software developer Panagiotis Abadiotakis at EMBRACE Tabletop Exercise (TTX) in Vienna, presented the Biotoxin Risk Assessment (BioRA) tool and the Biotoxin Reference and Stakeholder Hub (BRSH), highlighting how these solutions enhance decision-making and facilitate effective information sharing during complex incidents.

Representing IANUS was Nasos Chronis, at the EXIS Project Plenary Meeting that took place in Munich, Germany on the 5th of March, 2026.

Hosted at the Hochschule für den öffentlichen Dienst in Bayern, the day included discussions on the current project progress, upcoming steps for the the trainings in Northern Greece as well as milestones achieved so far.
