The Anti-Finter Project 2nd Policy Seminar was held in Brussels on the 26th of October and hosted by Ibec. 

The seminar was dedicated to exploring the intricate connections between access to tools, knowledge, and data in the context of countering terrorist financing. The seminar delved into the evolving landscape of crypto-assets, dark web activities, and emerging payment systems.

STARLIGHT project aims to create a community that brings together LEAs, researchers, industry, and practitioners in the security ecosystem under a coordinated and strategic effort to bring AI into operational practices.

Ianus Consulting was in Barcelona for the 17 & 18 of October, participating and co-leading the workshop on Vulnerability Assessment of PoW, alongside the Guardia Urbana de Barcelona (BCN).

The workshop was hosted by BCN in the City Hall of Barcelona and the Espai Bombers of the Barcelona Fire Brigade. Partners of the SPIRIT EU Project as well as other participants from local stakeholders, including faith-leaders, LEAs and public authorities.

Each of the workshops is aimed at applying vulnerability assessment tools and gathering input on how to ameliorate the tools and the process, ultimately developing an Enhanced Vulnerability Assessment Methodology EVAM.

IANUS Consulting, in collaboration with Cyprus’s  Civil Defence, organized the General Assembly & Hackathon Meeting, which occurred at the Cyclopes Training Centre in Larnaca, Cyprus, from October 10th to 12th. The event was highly successful, with a turnout of 64 partners and participants from various European countries.

Day3 – Hackathon meeting: Application of SVA framework, methodology and platform, on specific scenarios.
