Eirini Barri on behalf of IANUS participate in the SAFE-CITIES General Assembly Meeting and the first Workshop organised by the consortium in Gdansk.

During the workshop, the stakeholders specialised in the public spaces protection evaluated the Security Vulnerability Assessment (SVA) Methodology. The team also focused on evaluation of the Security Vulnerability Assessment (SVA) Methodology based on 8 scenarios of dangerous situations in public areas.

IANUS participated at the Kick-off meeting of the project SPIRIT, which took place in Brussels, on 11-12 May, 2023. SPIRIT is an EU-funded project that aims to enhance the preparedness and response capabilities of places of worship and religious mass gatherings using modern tools and security-by-design concepts in a holistic, yet cohesive approach.

Georgia Anagnostaki represented IANUS and participated at the KoM, during which the partners presented and discussed the project objectives, workplan, next immediate steps and activities. The Consortium also held conversations on the ethics and security factors that need to be taken into account.
