FERMI: Kick-Off Meeting

The official Kick-Off Meeting of the FERMI took place on the 18th and 19th of October 2022 on the premises of the University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration (Coordinator) in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany, where IANUS took part in.

The FERMI project will exploit a holistic and cross-disciplinary methodology towards a framework that will thoroughly analyze D&FN and its sources. Comprising a set of innovative technological developments, FERMI will facilitate EU Police Authorities to detect and monitor the way that D&FN spread, both in terms of locations and within different segments of society.

During the meeting, the partners had the opportunity to get to know each other, go over the project overview and analyze the workflow.

2PS: Kick-Off Meeting

14 countries together to prevent children from harm.
In October 2022, Protect and Prevent through Support (2PS) project kicked off and brought together 20 partners from 14 different countries to start working for the prevention of child sexual abuse.

2PS is an #HorizonEurope funded project that brings #prevention to the forefront so that harm to children is prevented before it occurs.
2PS is offering a paradigm shift in the approach to tackling child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) across Europe.

2PS ultimate goal is to protect children, and this can be achieved by addressing the support needs of people who fear they might offend against children, offering them alternative pathways.

RESPOND-A: Greek pilot

Today marks a key step in the development of RESPOND-A with our Greek pilot taking place in #Egaleo, in the vicinity of #Athens.

We are testing innovative technologies that enhance the #safety and operational capabilities of #firstresponders across 2 scenarios based on an #earthquake incident.

With this pilot we show that these #technologies significantly increase the overall communication between command centers and first responders in the field. By allowing to seemlessly track the position and health status of responders through various sensors and wearables, the safety of the responder is increased. Finally the various devices, tools and services used help to maximize First Responders #Situation awareness and provide a Common Operational pictures of the #disaster

This is only a portion of the full range of products & services developed within RESPOND-A, for a comprehensive and detailed overview of the solutions.
