IANUS Technologies participated in BEYOND Expo 2025, held from April 4th to 6th in Athens – the International Exhibition for Digital Technology and Innovation.

BEYOND Expo serves as a key meeting point for the most innovative companies and cutting-edge technologies, and we are proud to have been part of such a dynamic and inspiring event.

Representing IANUS were: Director Georgios Kioumourtzis, CTO Irene Barri, Human Rights & International Politics Researcher Nasos Chronis, and Junior Software Developer Christos Ioannides.

The European Commission hosted the EDF Info Days 2025 on April 2–3, 2025. This event was a key opportunity to explore funding under the European Defence Fund, gain insights from DG DEFIS experts, and connect with potential partners through thematic pitch sessions and matchmaking opportunities.

We are pleased to share that our Director, Georgios Kioumourtzis, attended this event, representing IANUS Technologies, and engage discussions on EU defence innovation and funding opportunities!

After 30 months of research, innovation and collaboration, the LAGO project is officially approaching the end with a powerful finale in Palermo.

Represented by Evangelos Michos, IANUS participated in the 8th and final Plenary Meeting and the concluding Workshop hosted by Polizia di Stato and supported by DG HOME. The last days were a true celebration of everything we’ve accomplished together.

On March 25-27, 2025, SAFE-CITIES Final Demonstration took place in Nova Gorica city, which, together with Gorizia, is the borderless European Capital of Culture 2025. 

IANUS served as one of the technological providers of the project designing one of SAFE-CITIES solutions, 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄 (𝐒𝐄𝐜𝐮𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐲 a𝐕𝐮𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭) – a tool that enables users to visually assess public spaces on a map, adding vital spatial context for more accurate analysis.
