Dr. Georgios Kioumourtzis, Director of IANUS Technologies, participated in the Nicosia Risk Forum 2024 NRF2024, co-organized by the Presidency of the Republic of Cyprus and CERIDES – EUC.

During this important event, Dr. Kioumourtzis delivered a presentation titled: “Command-Control and Information Systems for First Responders: Implementing IFAFRI’s Capability Gaps by IANUS.” This presentation showcased how IANUS is empowering first responders with innovative tools to enhance their effectiveness and safety.

IANUS Technologies represented by Andria Hadjithekli and Evelyn Tarwireyi, participated at ONELAB’s first Field Technical Exercise and General Assembly in Vienna, Austria.

Leading the dissemination activities for the project, Evelyn was at every corner capturing all moments of this week’s great work. Andria, lead the rehearsals and evaluation assessment of the FTX, ensuring constructive feedback is received from external evaluators, internal observers, end-users and patient actors!

Dr. Georgios Kioumourtzis, Founder and Director of IANUS Technologies, contributed as the Conference Moderator, in the 2nd European Conference “Skills in the EU Defense Ecosystem,”

The event took place in Thessaloniki, Greece between 26-27 of November, 2024, organized by SEKPY – Hellenic Manufacturers of Defense Materiel Association in collaboration with the European Commission and the European Network for Defense-Related Regions.

Irene Barri and Lampros Pitsillos, represented IANUS at the SHRINEs Project Hackathon in Assisi, Italy, held on 25–27th November!

Irene and Lampros were among the 11 finalists in this competition, presenting SERVE, an innovative, in-house developed tool which is part of the SAFE-CITIES Project, aimed at improving the security assessment of public spaces and ensuring safer environments for all.
