As a Research Associate, you will focus on the implementation and management of European and National research projects. 

As a crucial member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and managing various European and National research initiatives in the field of Science and/or Engineering. You will play a pivotal role in advancing our organization’s strategic interests and ethical standards while ensuring compliance with GDPR regulations. Candidates will be preferred if they have knowledge of European funding programs and can engage with partner organizations and funding bodies. Candidates should preferably be graduates of well-established European Universities. Other candidates from recognized institutions are also welcome.

Job Role & Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation.
  • Monitoring and follow-up of project activities.
  • Provide inputs in scientific and research reports.
  • Participate in project meetings and teleconferences.
  • Participate in EU-level working groups and platforms, representing IANUS strategic interests.
  • Prepare project reports, briefings and project deliverables.
  • Monitoring of suitable European innovation dedicated funding schemes
  • Contribute to the preparation and submission of project proposals for funding.

Job Requirements

  • University degree in Science or Engineering, or related field is required. The possession of a M.Sc. and/or Ph.D. degree is a plus.
  • A deep knowledge and understanding of the field they will be entering, including the ability to identify and analyse the issues in the relevant sector.
  • Familiarity with Web CMS platforms is a plus (e.g. WordPress).
  • Familiarity with proposal writing is a plus
  • Familiarity with writing papers and journals is a plus
  • Familiarity with Risk/Vulnerability Assessment procedures is a plus
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Availability to travel for partner meetings and events abroad.
  • Proficiency level in English.

Employment Terms

The position is on a contract basis, which is renewable based on performance. The gross monthly salary depends on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
